6 Days Special Midrange Safari in Kenya

The adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading towards the iconic Amboseli National Park. The journey offers scenic views of rural Kenya and glimpses of Mount Kilimanjaro as you approach the park. Upon arrival at your lodge or camp, enjoy a delicious lunch and some time to settle in. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive through the park, renowned for its large elephant herds and unparalleled views of Mount Kilimanjaro. As the sun sets, the magical golden hues create perfect moments for photography. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay, immersed in the tranquility of the African wilderness.

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Amboseli, where the soft light of dawn enhances the beauty of the park’s landscapes and its active wildlife. After a hearty breakfast back at the lodge, check out and begin your journey to Naivasha. The drive takes you through the scenic Rift Valley, offering breathtaking views of escarpments and expansive landscapes. Arrive in Naivasha by midday and check into your accommodation. Spend the afternoon exploring the area with an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos and an array of bird species, or take a guided walk at Crescent Island Game Sanctuary. The day concludes with dinner and a restful night by the lake.

After breakfast, depart from Naivasha and head to Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is famed for its picturesque landscapes, flamingos, and thriving rhino population. Arrive and check in at your hotel as you pick your lunch. Then commence your game drive, taking in the stunning views of the lake and its surrounding acacia woodlands. You might encounter lions, leopards, and large herds of buffalo during your exploration. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your drive through various viewpoints. In the late afternoon, proceed to your hotel in Nakuru, where you’ll unwind over dinner and spend the night surrounded by the park’s serene environment.

You'll wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. After breakfast, you'll leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara, a-5 hour drive to Narok town. Narok is a famous Maasai town en route to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch, check in at Olkinyei Tented Camp and have lunch.

Later on, you'll embark on an afternoon to evening game drive through the park in search of lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, other Big Five members, and a variety of wildlife.

Have dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will spend all day in the park with packed lunch, searching for its famous wild residents. The Maasai community borders the greater Masai Mara National Reserve and has co-existed with wildlife for years, while still preserving their nomadic pastoral way of life.

At lunchtime, you'll have a picnic lunch out in the wild from your packed lunch boxes.

After the picnic lunch, you'll continue your game safari inside the vast Masai Mara. A trip to the Masai Mara is never complete without visiting the Mara River to sample the rich biodiversity and ecosystem here. There will be hippos and Nile crocodiles to behold.

Later, you will have dinner then an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and drive back to Nairobi. En route, you will make a scheduled visit to a Maasai Village for a cultural experience, where you'll learn more about the community that has co-existed with the Mara wildlife for centuries.

Afterwards, you will continue the journey to Nairobi, arriving in the mid-afternoon. You'll be dropped off at your respective hotel or the airport.
